How do .info domain names do at auction?
The results of the T.R.A.F.F.I.C. Silicon Valley live auction are in. Two .info domains were included in the live auction. Sports.info sold for $9,000 and LapTopComputers sold for $4,000.
Obviously, .info domains do not command the same premium as .com names. This being said, if you find the right type of domain name it can still be profitable.
Here are some .info domains which sold at auction in 2008. The results were reported by several sources.

images.info - $1,900

So you see, for an investment of just over a dollar, at current sale prices, you can do quite well if you get the right domain.
